Ingredients
Scale
Lobster Filling
- 1 lb freshly cooked lobster meat
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
Slider Buns
- 12 slider buns (soft and buttery)
- 4 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the sliders to a perfect golden brown.
- Mix Lobster Filling: In a medium bowl, gently combine the freshly cooked lobster meat, mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and chopped chives. Stir carefully to coat all ingredients evenly without breaking up the lobster too much.
- Prepare Buns: Slice the slider buns horizontally, creating a top and bottom half for each slider. Be careful not to slice all the way through to keep the buns intact.
- Assemble Sliders: Evenly distribute the lobster mixture among the bottom halves of the slider buns, filling each generously but neatly.
- Brush with Butter: Brush the tops of the slider buns with the melted butter, which will give them a deliciously golden and shiny crust once baked.
- Bake: Place the assembled sliders on a sheet pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown and the filling is warmed through.
- Serve: Remove from oven and serve warm. Garnish with extra chopped chives or lemon wedges if desired for an added fresh touch.
Notes
- For more tender lobster meat, use freshly cooked lobster or high-quality pre-cooked lobster.
- Lightly toasting the buns before assembling can add extra crispness.
- Adjust the lemon juice amount based on your taste preference for brightness.
- These sliders are best enjoyed immediately but can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 day and reheated gently.
