Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 8 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce, divided
- 1 lb. cooked shredded chicken
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 cups freshly grated Mozzarella cheese, divided
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by spraying it with non-stick spray to prevent the roll-ups from sticking.
- Cook Lasagna Noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles in a large pot of salted water according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and carefully lay the noodles out on parchment paper to cool and dry, making them easier to handle for rolling.
- Prepare Chicken Alfredo Filling: In a medium bowl, combine half of the Alfredo sauce, all of the shredded chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Stir well until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
- Assemble Roll-Ups: Spread the chicken Alfredo mixture evenly over each lasagna noodle. Roll up each noodle from one end to the other, ensuring the filling is enclosed. Place each roll-up seam-side down into the prepared baking dish.
- Add Sauce and Cheese: Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce evenly over the top of the roll-ups, then sprinkle the remaining 2 cups of mozzarella cheese to cover them generously.
- Bake: Bake the dish uncovered for 20 minutes or until the cheese on top is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and, if desired, sprinkle chopped parsley over the roll-ups. Serve warm and enjoy your creamy, cheesy Chicken Alfredo Roll-Ups!
Notes
- Use freshly grated mozzarella cheese for the best melting and flavor.
- Cooked shredded chicken can be substituted with rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- You can prepare this dish ahead of time and refrigerate before baking; just add a few extra minutes to baking time if baking from cold.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling mixture for some heat.
- Leftovers can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven.
