Ingredients
Scale
Meat and Cheese
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled, cooked bacon
Vegetables & Pickles
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup pickled red onions (or raw red onions)
- 1/2 cup sliced pickles
- 1/4 cup pickled jalapeno slices
- 4 cups shredded lettuce
Burger Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp pickle relish
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp relish
Instructions
- Prepare the Burger Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, pickle relish, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside to let the flavors meld.
- Cook the Ground Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook the beef for 7-10 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula until fully browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat and remove from heat.
- Assemble Cheeseburger Bowls: In serving bowls, layer the shredded lettuce first, followed by the cooked ground beef. Top with halved cherry tomatoes, pickled red onions, sliced pickles, pickled jalapeno slices, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Drizzle each bowl generously with the prepared burger sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- You can substitute pickled red onions with raw red onions for a milder crunch.
- Add extra smoky flavor by using smoked paprika in the burger sauce.
- For a low-carb option, omit the tomatoes or adjust toppings to your preference.
- Leftover burger sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Use lean ground beef to reduce fat content if desired.
